Cub Scout Lock-In
The 19th annual Cub Scout Lock-In will be at the Albany, Oregon, Fairgrounds. The event starts on Friday, February 25 at 6pm with opening ceremonies. Activity booths, archery, BB’s and much more will keep scouts entertained until about 11pm, when our closing ceremony begins. After that, grab your sleeping bag, pillow, and plan on watching space movies all night! For those that do sleep, we will wake everyone up at about 7am, on Saturday morning, provide a light breakfast, and the event will wrap up.

Register online for this event (http://www.doubleknot.com/Registration/CalendarDetail.asp?ActivityKey=888873&OrgKey=1471).
Register by Jan 31 (date change) for early bird pricing: $13 per attendee (adults and youth). Starting at midnight on Jan. 31, the fee will be $20.

Pinewood Derby
Thursday, February 10, Scout Cabin
We are hoping to hold a Pinewood Derby workshop so that parents/scouts can learn trade “secrets”.  If you are interested, RSVP by phone or email to Jill by February 3.

Our Pinewood Derby track is a little old and hurting; it’s on its last leg.  Who wants to take it home and
nurse it back to health?

Pop Can Fundraiser
We need parents to help run the Pop Can Fundraiser on Sat., Feb. 19 in Lyons. We need parents to:  check boys in & out, help at work area at the Grange, coordinate transporting cans/bottles for redeeming, cleaning up work area, thanking and thanking again the stores that let us redeem containers. This has been a successful fundraiser in the past.  Let Jill know how you would like to help.
